Training to become a court reporter can take as little as a few months and up to three years. It is important to study at an accredited college that is approved by the NCRA (National Court Reporters Association).
Court reporter training will typically involve training in scoping technology, stenotype computer aided transcription, captioning software, voice writing and real time reporting.
